Robert Coté, DC |
Robert Coté, DC was awarded the 2003 SOTO-USA Lifetime Achievement Award is given to Dr. Robert A. Coté. Dr. Coté was first introduced to SOT in 1943 when his father returned from a seminar given by Dr. DeJarnette. He still remembers himself standing in front of the distortion analyzer demonstrating the new technique, SOT. Dr. Coté graduated in 1959 from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and began studying and attending SOT seminars in 1961 continually for 25 years. He was active with the Sacro Occipital Research Society supporting Dr. DeJarnette’s work and starting in 1964 he was a member of the board of directors for 25 consecutive years, including the presidency 1973-74 and chairman 1975-76. Presently he is practicing in Rosemére, Quebec, Canada. Dr. Coté is certified in craniopathy and has is a Fellow and Diplomate with the International Craniopathic Society. He has been a primary instructor of SOT for over 20 years and has presented his innovative techniques and methods of care at the 2000, 2001, and 2003 SOTO-USA clinical symposiums. |

Dr.
Johnson earned his DDS degree at the University of California in San Francisco
in 1976 and immediately began practicing general dentistry. Early
forays into functional orthodontics led him like many into cranio-mandibular

Marc G. Pick is a Doctor of Chiropractic
with a private practice in Beverly Hills, California since 1973. In a desire
to enhance his services, he attended Emperors College of Traditional Oriental
Medicine from 1987-92, and in 1997, he completed the American Chiropractic
Association’s 300-hour postgraduate course in Neurology. Dr. Pick is a
lifetime and founding member of the Sacro-Occipital-Technique Organization
(SOTO) – USA. He earned his Fellowship status in Craniopathy has been a world
renown lecturer since 1979. Since 1973, he has accomplished several thousand
hours of human dissection and founded Project Human (the construction of
a prosected latex humanoid cast from the parts of human cadavers). His article
investigating MRI scanning and cranial manipulation and was published in
the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT) in 1994.
He has published his research into cranial anatomy and therapy in a book
entitled, “Cranial Sutures: Analysis, Morphology & Manipulative Strategies,”
released through Eastland Press. |

Martin
G. Rosen, D.C. is a 1981 summa cum laude graduate of Life Chiropractic
College. He lives with his wife Nancy Watson, D.C., and their two
children, Emily age 21 and Erin age 17 in Natick Massachusetts. For
the past 22 years Dr. Rosen has maintained a successful family oriented
wellness care practice in Wellesley MA. He is the current chairman
of the SOTO-USA pediatric and research committees and the past chairman
of the SORSI research committee. Over the last 19 years he has taught
S.O.T, craniopathy, and pediatrics nationally as well as lecturing on practice
management, philosophy, and technique protocols. He has written the
only Pediatric Participant Guide for S.O.T, The Pediatric S.O.T Spinal Adjusting
Manual, The Pediatric Cranial Adjusting Manual and has contributed to the
re-writing and updating of several S.O.T related publications.
He has been a quest speaker and teacher for numerous organizations such as SOTO-USA, SORSI, ICA-MA, Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy, WCA Clinical Symposium, Forsythe Dental Clinic, Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. and Children’s Hospital of Boston. Dr. Rosner is the Director
of the Foundation for Chiropractic Education
and Research, (FCER) since 1992. He directs, reviews and
troubleshoots over 60 research programs (basic and clinical trials) pertaining
to chiropractic care, primarily headed by principal investigators at colleges
and universities. RAND Corporation, think tanks and clinical centers
worldwide. Assesses and defines priorities of chiropractic research and communicates
to both applicants and prospective sources of funding. Serves on editorial
boards of three peer-reviewed journals, and reviews for one other.
Directs fellowship and research residency programs funded by FCER .

Steve Tatevossian, DDS |
Dr. Steve Tatevossian
graduated in 1996 from Loma Linda Dental School. His post graduate
education has included a clinical residency with the Institute of Advanced
TMJ Studies and hundreds of hours studying the latest diagnosis and treatment
methods for head, neck, facial pain and TMJ disorders as well as its relationship
to snoring and sleep apnea. He is a lecturer at the Dental-Cranial
Study Club on TMJ disorders and Long Beach Community Hospital on sleep apnea.
Dr. Tatevossian focuses on multidisciplinary care, which is generally conservative
and non-surgical. He is a member of the American Academy of Craniofacial
Pain, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and International Association for
